Dog lovers, you’ll understand. Once that furry kid enters your life, life tends to revolve around him/her/them.

What used to be “sure, I can do happy hour with you in 20 minutes!” quickly becomes “ I need to go home and walk my dog.” What used to be a wide array of options for dining out, travel and lazy weekends in your PJs quickly evolves to accommodate a new best friend who needs lots of stimulation, exercise and who isn’t always welcome to join in your old routines.

And you know what? That excited wag of the tail or sweet lick of the face makes it all worth it.

Three girls, no kids and four dogs. In this blog, we’ll chronicle our experiences of going from zero responsibility to baby stepping our way to parenthood…if we ever make it there. We’ll make recommendations for where to take your pooch and how to discover the Pacific Northwest in a new light. We’ll offer tips and tricks for training and exhausting your pup.
